The PassportCard-DavidShield Group was founded in 1999 by Alon Ketzef, driven by a holistic vision of human needs in the medical insurance field. Recognizing a significant gap in addressing these needs during stays outside the country’s borders, the group introduced an innovative solution: real-time payment via a dedicated debit card for insurance events abroad.
Since then, the group has expanded its services, providing coverage to travelers abroad, expatriates in relocation, digital nomads, and insured individuals seeking global health insurance. Today, we are among the world’s leading providers of international health insurance and the largest travel insurance company in Israel.
